Marubeni India Meritorious Scholarship is a free scholarship for students in India.This scholarship after 12th is given Science,commerce,math and arts students of all casts who are pursuing Under Graduate courses from a college.

About The Scholarship:
Launched 4 years ago the aim of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to meritorious and needy college students who are in their first year of graduation. Marubeni India Private Limited offers this scholarship under its CSR.
Scholarship Benefits:
All those college students who fill this scholarship form and get selected will be given INR 40,000 to 50,000 in a single installment.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Students should be enrolled in 1st year of full-time Under- Graduation Course with UGC recognized universities in Professional or Technical Courses.
2. Students in India living in any city can apply.
3. Students belonging to any category(General/EWS/OBC/SC/ST) can apply.
4. This scholarship is for students who have scored more than 75% in class 12 board exams in session 2018-19.
5. Only those students can apply whose total family income is not more than INR 4,00,000 (4 Lakh) per annum.
6. Applicants must not be getting any other scholarship of INR 6,000 per annum or more.
Selection Criteria:
1. Initial selection is based on class 12th marks.
2. Then telephonic interview will be conducted.
3. Selected candidates will be called for personal Interview taken
by Marubeni India Private Limited officials.

College Students can apply for the scholarship online by following the below steps:
Step 1: Visit the scholarship portal.
Step 2: Login/Register using the Email id.
Step 3: After logging in , click on "Start Application Button" and start filling the form.
Step 4: Fill in your details and then upload the required documents.
Step 5: Finally, click on Submit to apply for the scholarship.
Documents Required:
1. Passport size photo.
2. For Date of Birth Proof: (Any one)
Birth certificate/First and last pages of a valid Indian passport/Driver’s license/Class 10 mark sheet with Date of Birth mentioned.
3. For Identity Proof: (Any one)
PAN Card/Voter Identity Card/Driver’s License/Aadhar Card/Class 10 mark sheet with photo.
4. For Family Income Proof:
BPL Card/Income Certificate/Recent monthly pay slip.
5. For Qualification Proof:
Class 10th and Class 12th mark-sheet.
Important Dates:
1. The last Date for Applying for scholarship for college students is 25th Sept,2019.
2. Other Telephonic Interview: 11th to 25th Oct,2019
3. Face to Face Interview: 7th Dec,2019 at Marubeni India’s offices.
4. Scholarship Result: 17 Dec,2019
Important Guidelines and Terms:
1. Marubeni India reserves the final right to cancel or withdraw the scholarship without any prior notice.
2. Selection will be done solely by Marubeni India.
3. The scholarship is non transferable.
4. Scholarship shall be sent to the bank account which is in name of the selected student only.
5. Submitting false information or documents will result n cancellation of application.
6. Merubeni India will not be responsible for disruption of any kind outside their purview.
